Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Stack Tower ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile game application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Stack Tower is designed as a completely offline experience. The App does not connect to the internet, does not require registration, and does not send any data to external servers. This policy explains what minimal technical information is involved and how it is managed.
Fully Offline
No internet connection required. No data ever leaves your device.
No Accounts
No sign-up, login, or registration of any kind.
Local Only
All game data stays on your device via local storage.
This policy complies with the Google Play Developer Policy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and applicable children's privacy laws including COPPA.
Information We Collect
Stack Tower does not collect personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, device identifiers, advertising IDs, or any other information that could identify you.
The App uses SharedPreferences, a standard Android and iOS local storage mechanism, to save the following game data exclusively on your device:

How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data for us to use, sell, share, or process.
The locally stored game data listed in Section 1 is used solely for the following in-app purposes:
- Persistence: Remembering your scores, coins, and settings between sessions so you do not lose progress when you close the App.
- Gameplay: Enabling the theme shop, achievements, and difficulty system to function correctly.
- Display: Showing your best score and total coins on the main menu.
We do not use any data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
Data Storage & Security
All game data is stored locally on your device using the platform's standard SharedPreferences (Android) or NSUserDefaults (iOS) mechanism. This data is:
- Stored only on your physical device
- Protected by your device's built-in security (screen lock, encryption, app sandboxing)
- Inaccessible to us or any third party
- Deleted automatically when you uninstall the App
- Deletable at any time via Settings → Reset Progress within the App
Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of interception during transit. Your game data is as secure as your device itself.
Third-Party Services
Stack Tower does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, crash-reporting tools, social media plugins, or cloud platforms. The App does not make any network requests.
No Analytics
No Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar tools.
No Advertising
No AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or any ad SDKs.
No Cloud Services
No Firebase, AWS, or any backend services of any kind.
No Crash Reporters
No Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar diagnostic tools.
The Rate App button in Settings is a placeholder UI element only. It does not open an external link or transmit any information. Future versions that implement this functionality will update this policy accordingly.
Note regarding the Google Play Store: When you download Stack Tower from the Google Play Store, Google may collect certain information as part of its platform services (such as download records and crash reports submitted by your device's operating system). This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, which is separate from and outside the scope of this policy.
Children's Privacy
Stack Tower is a family-friendly game suitable for all ages, including children under 13. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.
Because the App:
- Collects no personal information from any user
- Does not connect to the internet
- Does not display advertising
- Does not facilitate communication with other users
- Does not link to external websites or social media
…it is fully compliant with COPPA and child-safety requirements without restriction. No parental consent is required to use this App.
Your Rights & Choices
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws, you have rights regarding your personal data. Since we do not collect personal data, most of these rights apply in a straightforward way: there is nothing for us to access, correct, port, or delete on our end.
All data the App stores is visible and accessible directly on your device.
Game data adjusts automatically based on your gameplay.
Use Settings → Reset Progress to delete all stored data instantly.
No data is processed for marketing or profiling — there is nothing to object to.
Data is stored in standard platform files accessible via Android's backup or device settings.
We do not sell data. There is nothing to opt out of.
If you believe we have not addressed your rights appropriately, you may contact us (see Section 9) or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data Retention
Locally stored game data is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. The data is automatically deleted when you:
- Uninstall the App from your device
- Use Settings → Reset Progress within the App
- Clear the App's data through your device's system settings
We do not retain any data on external servers because we do not receive any data. Once you delete the App or reset your progress, the data is gone permanently and cannot be recovered by us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the Last Updated date at the top of this policy
- Publish the updated policy on our App Store listing
- For significant changes, notify users within the App if technically feasible
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the App and delete it from your device.
